Ghee Rice


    2 chopped onion

    1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

    1 mashed garlic & ginger

    3 tablespoon of AAC ghee

    2 cups of water

    4 chopped green chilli

    1 cup basmati rice

    1 teaspoon salt

    5 clove

*The above ingredients can be used for 4 servings.


Get ready to taste a yummy lunch. For making this easy ghee rice recipe, cut the onions into small pieces. Wash the rice, soak in water for few minutes and strain it.

In a heavy bottomed vessel or cooker, fry chopped onions in AAC ghee along with chillies, cloves, cumin seeds, garlic & ginger.

Add strained rice to the above items and fry it for few minutes. Add two cups of water, required salt &allow it to get cooked.

After it is cooked, fry few cashews in AAC ghee, add it to the cooked ghee rice and mix gently.

Your delicious ghee rice using AAC ghee is now ready to serve. While serving it, garnish it with some coriander leaves on top of it & serve it with either pickle or raita.
