Mysore Pak
Ingredients:
· 2/3 cup sugar
- baking soda as required
- 1/3 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 cup AAC ghee
- 1/3 cup water

To prepare this delicious dessert recipe, add 1 cup of AAC ghee in a pan & heat it over a medium flame. Once the ghee is sufficiently hot, add gram flour in it and fry it for few minutes. Make sure that the raw smell goes away, and for that, you will have to cook the gram flour properly. Take care that the flour doesn’t turn brown. Boil the sugar in another heavy bottomed pan with water, and keep mixing till it reaches string consistency. When the sugar syrup is prepared,add the fried gram flour in it, & stir well till it thickens. Heat the remaining AAC ghee & slowly add it to the gram flour and sugar syrup mixture. When the ghee starts to rise from the sides and begins to separate, add the baking soda. Stir again & pour it into a plate coated with ghee. Spread the preparation & allow it to cool, and then cut into slices. Store them in an airtight container, and serve as desired.
